A Tapestry of Experiences

Emotions Dance is proud to participate in Winter Park Arts Weekend: A Tapestry of Experiences, a four-day celebration of arts and culture in the heart of Winter Park. This annual event highlights the 24 members of the Winter Park Arts & Culture Alliance, featuring dozens of performances, interactive activities, and cultural experiences throughout the city.

Throughout the weekend, Emotions Dance will be actively involved in multiple events, bringing movement, creativity, and community connection to audiences of all ages:

  • February 5, 6:00 PM – Weaving Art and Science for Healthy Young Minds at the Center for Health & Wellbeing. Founder and Artistic Director Larissa Humiston, MSW, LCSW, will join a panel exploring how song, dance, and the arts contribute to positive mental health in young people.

  • February 6, 7:00 PM – Central Park Main Stage Concert. Emotions Dancers will perform alongside Broadway star Jasmine Forsberg during a free community concert presented by Central Florida Vocal Arts.

  • February 7, 12:00–3:00 PM – Art in the Park. Enjoy live performances, interactive arts activities, and community engagement in Central Park. Emotions Dancers will perform both on stage and throughout the park, and the company will host a table to connect with the community.

Winter Park Arts Weekend offers an opportunity to experience the city’s rich arts culture, connect with local artists, and celebrate creativity in all its forms. Emotions Dance is honored to be part of this tapestry of experiences, bringing dance, movement, and emotional well-being to the community.
