Brianna Bogen

Senior Company Member

Bri Bogen recently moved here from Washington State where her dance training began at the age of 6. She quickly fell in love with the art form and has been dancing ever since. She was brought up in a competition studio, training in a variety of styles including hip hop, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and tap. After graduating high-school she continued her dance education by attending the University of Idaho for their dance program. Here she shifted her focus from the competitive realm into the more artistic side of things by getting involved in ballet and modern dance. This was a science based education, heavily reliant on movement theory, which gave way to her deeper appreciation for the art form she already loved so much. Her college education gave her many opportunities in composition. She was invited by the department heads to show her choreography at the southeastern conference of ACDA in 2018; and she has collaborated with musician Brooke Trumm to create a piece for the beloved annual show and tour Dancers, Drummers, Dreamers. To supplement her dance training, Bri became certified in mat Pilates with BASI and loves teaching Pilates to other dancers looking for conditioning in their off season. Bri is excited for the opportunity to dance with our company, where she is hoping to dive deeper into her education and training.
