CJ started dancing at the age of three at a dance studio in Tallahassee, Florida. She continued dancing in Okeechobee, Florida where she received all her training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, and pointe. She competed in national competitions from elementary school all the way throughout her current college career. She’s also taught and choreographed many pieces for different dance studios in Florida.

Veronica Ramirez was born in Cali Colombia where she began her artistic career at the age of 10. In 2007, she graduated as a professional ballet dancer and initiated her profession in classical ballet at the Colombian Ballet Company. She has danced Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Carmina Burana, and many others. Veronica has participated in international tours where she went to Mexico, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, and Honduras. In 2017, she started working at the Colombian National Contemporary Dance Company as a Ballet teacher.

Chloe started dancing at the age of six at a local dance studio in her small town of Umatilla and joined her studios competition team at the age of seven, where she performed across lake county and in her towns parades, holiday and charity events. She competed regionals and nationally across Florida taking home numerous first place awards. Chloe extended her dance training in workshops and conventions from well known choreographers who work with many of today’s famous performers in the music industry. She started intensive training in Leesburg at the age of nine where she continued to practice under ballet master Ron holiday. As well as competing in Studio owner Terri hick’s competition team for nine years. Along with many other choreographers adding to her experience in all styles of dance. Chloe has been trained in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, contemporary, clogging, and modern. Because of her love for dance she has received much joy in helping assist teachers, choreographed numbers, as well as taught private lessons.

Alexis was born and raised In lake Mary Florida. Since she was younger Alexis has always had the passion to either do gymnastics, cheer, or dance. At the age of 7 she started gymnastics at Scott Johnson Tumble & Gymnastics. Although it was only for a year, she moved up levels fast and was about to start competing when she moved. For 7 more years Alexis wished to be involved in something and finally had that opportunity at the age of 15. She tried out for the high school dance team at Lake Mary High, the Lake Marionettes. They are most known for their high kicks, giving them many national titles. Although alexis never trained at a dance studio, dance team has helped shape her to be the dancer she is today. Her love for dance keeps her going, and hopes to better herself every day. Currently she’s working as a server, and wants to study psychology at Seminole State College.
Raleigh is 21 years old and has been dancing since the age of 4. She was born and raised in Kingsport, TN and trained at Kingsport Ballet, primarily in classical ballet. She has also trained in modern, jazz, and character dance. Over her 14 years with Kingsport Ballet (7 years as a company member), she has performed in many full-length classical ballets such as The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Giselle, and Don Quixote. Some of her favorite roles include Clara and Chinese in The Nutcracker, The Pas De Trois in Swan Lake, Diamond in The Sleeping Beauty, and Friends in Don Quixote. Raleigh has attended Kingsport Ballet’s summer intensive yearly as well as summer intensive programs at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington D.C., Houston Ballet, and Radford University. Raleigh’s passion for dance has grown through the years and she now also enjoys sharing that passion through teaching dance as well as performing. More recently she has re-located to Florida to further her dance career, and is now part of the Emotions Dance Company.
Lauren is 23 years old and was raised in the sunshine state. She grew up participating in a variety of sports and performing arts, but ultimately went to school at Palm Beach Atlantic University to focus on Dance and Graphic Design. Always wanting to improve and try new things, Lauren has studied a variety of topics, including martial arts, musical theater, and acrobatics. She loves using dance in the professional world or in the community to make people smile, cause people to think about life, and to tell a story.
Brooke originally hails from Houston, Texas where she grew up dancing at Excelsior School of Dance training under the ABT Syllabus. She has also had training with the Houston Metropolitan Dance School, Ad Deum Modern Company, Steps on Broadway and Ballet Magnificat. During the 2013 summer intensive Brooke was accepted into Ballet Magnificat’s professional training program. Brooke has danced professionally with Owen Theater, Chara Dance Company, Refines Arts Houston, MSCD and Ballet Excelsior of Houston where Brooke was a company member for 4 years. In addition to being a company member with Ballet Excelsior, Brooke has traveled as a corps member and then a soloist with Excelsior’s international touring company throughout Europe and Asia. Brooke was the Ballet Director of Profusion Preforming Arts for 2 years, a Dance instructor for Excelsior School of Dance for 5 years, and Assistant Director of Mercy Steps School of Dance for 2 years where she was also the Jr Company Director. Brooke also choreographed and preformed with MSDC to open Ballet Magnificat’s tour through Jacksonville in 2016. Currently Brooke resides in St Augustine where she Teaches for the St Augustine Ballet and Abella’s School of Dance.
Autumn was born and raised in Southeast Minnesota. She began dancing at the age of 4 and ventured into the world of competitive dance when she reached middle school. As a competition dancer she received numerous awards across several genres, and ultimately decided that she wanted to dance professionally one day. She enrolled in the dance program at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and was privileged to study under Dr. Julie Kerr-Berry, Melissa Rosenberger, and Daniel Stark. While in school she was able to work with many companies in the Twin Cities art community via master classes and visiting guest artists. She attended the American College Dance Conference twice, and studied abroad in Paris with the dance program. After graduating with a BA in dance and a minor in Child Development and Family Studies, she moved to Orlando to explore a new arts community. She hopes to continue teaching dance in Orlando and is very excited to have connected with Emotions Dance Company.
Katie is 23 years old and a native to central Florida. With a background in musical theatre she moved her way over into the dance world a bit later in life and has loved every second since. Trained in contemporary, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, hip hop, modern, and tap she is ecstatic to be joining Emotions Dance Company to continue her training and share her love for dance and performing with the world.
