Gallery Opening Reception from 4-7pm: 

December Exhibition Opening in The Founders Gallery From Surreal Visions to Points of Color, a retrospective of the paintings of Robert Shirk. This exhibition tracks the artistic journey of Robert Shirk following the evolution of his paintings from surrealistic landscapes to neo-pointillist portraits. Learn why Shirk paints dots of color on acrylic sheets, while gaining insight into what motivates and influences his paintings. Each painting is a neo-pointillist three-dimensional kinetic image that moves and changes as the viewer’s perspective changes. Opening from 4-7pm. Artist Talk 6pm. Exhibition through December 31. 

Art Connections 10am-7pm: an inside look at the work of more than 60 local artists. Talk to the artists and learn about the process of creating art. Explore two floors of art in one historic building in the heart of the New Smyrna Beach Arts District. 

Live Music 11am-1pm: RhythmWorks outside The Hub. 5-7pm: Declan Killeen Toomey in the Lobby.

Talk Art! from 1-2pm: Patterns – In Life, As In Art, an informal demo and conversation with Hub artist Renee Lewis.

Emotions Dance 4-7pm: Emotions Dance dance company performs a holiday-themed living art demonstration in the lobby. Don’t miss this immersive audience experience! Sponsors: Diane and Fulton Williams.
