Emotions Dance is looking for talented individuals ages 18+ to be a part of our professional contemporary dance company. Dancers must be technically trained and willing to take artistic risks. Dancers should be prepared for ballet barre, progressions across the floor with turns and jumps, a contemporary dance combination, and should prepare a solo (under 2 minutes) to show the Artistic Director at the end of class. Pointe work is advantageous but not required. Dancers should also come prepared with a professional resume and headshot. Some pay and benefits available.
Currently there are 3 male spots, 2 female spots and 1 apprentice (ages 14-18) spots available. Auditions will take place at Turning Pointe-A Dance Studio (located at 470 E Lake Brantley Drive in Longwood).
Dancers must be prepared to commit to company class on Tuesday nights and for all scheduled rehearsals which are held on Thursday and Sunday evenings.
